Skills

I've highlighted key skills from my roles as an accessibility consultant and a development specialist, as well as from my academic career.

  • Experience Driven Design

One of the most important things I've learned during my career has been that you can never do too much testing, particularly with the user.

  • Front End Development

As part of my day-to-day role, I spend a lot of time on Front End Development and making memorable experiences for end-users.

  • Web Design

In my current role, as well as my spare time, I am constantly working on my design skills and trying to push the boundaries of existing technologies.

  • Prototyping

Throughout my career I have found it very useful to quickly create different designs and put them in the hands of users, to gather quick feedback.

  • Leadership

I was fortunate enough to lead a team of six extremely talented individuals for the IM Showcase, creating an innovative event, for the Interactive Media Course.

  • Collaborative Design

I believe that I work best when collaborating with others. Being able to bounce ideas around and learn from others' experiences is invaluable.
